Delicious Kerala Food

I was pleasantly surprised by the food at Pozhiyoram Beach Resort. We ordered Kerala cuisine, which was fantastic! The taste was rich and authentic, making my dining experience nice. Although I found that some meals were prepared from an outside restaurant, the local dishes they could make in-house were really good.

Charming Cottage

I stayed in a beach view cottage and it was simply charming. The decor was rustic with a cozy feel, and I loved the addition of a small fridge to keep drinks cool. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and having a glassed-in verandah made it feel like an extra living space.

Unique Open Roof Shower

One of the highlights of my stay was the bathroom design, specifically the open roof shower! It added a good nature element to the experience. Although the cleanliness could improve a bit, the concept was refreshing and unique, offering a nice shower experience.

Perfect for Kids

As a family vacation, Pozhiyoram was perfect for my kids! There was ample space for them to play and build sandcastles right near the beach. The calm environment was safe, and it was a joy to see children engaging in beach activities while we relaxed.

My experience at the resort was quite disappointing. While the beach views were beautiful, the room was absolutely filthy and not what we expected for the price we paid. The staff seemed overwhelmed and the services offered were very limited, leaving us frustrated during our stay.

My stay at Pozhiyoram Beach Resort was unfortunately disappointing. While the location is lovely, being close to a beach with a beautiful sunset, the state of the rooms and service left much to be desired. The cleanliness of the facilities was seriously lacking, and the dining experience didn’t meet expectations either, making it hard to recommend at the price point.

Staying at Pozhiyoram was quite disappointing for my husband and me. We had high hopes for a luxurious experience, but unfortunately, the chalet we were given was in terrible condition. While it offers beautiful views and is located near the beach, the lack of cleanliness and proper amenities made our stay quite uncomfortable. On the plus side, the surrounding area has potential.
